A. Reducing learning gaps that are caused because the child is hospitalized or needs to receive treatment periodically.

C. Helping to motivate the child maintain a learning continuity that was interrupted due to hospitalization
D. Providing emotional support and tools to cope with the disease in order to reduce anxiety and enable the child to receive information that is suitable for his age. Books, pictures and different objects are used when preparing a child for invasive surgery or other types of treatments.
The Children who are unable to get out of bed are worked with by their bedsides. Children who are able to get out of bed or who are not hospitalized, are encouraged to come to one of the six school classrooms (educational activity spaces), together with a parent. The staff is in contact with the child's school and continues to provide educational help at home in cases where a child is unable to go to school. The help is given through an organization called Kadima-Mada-Shvilim.
The educational staff works together with the hospital staff: doctors, nurses and social workers Staff meetings are held regularly in all of the children's departments concerning the different children and their needs.
